Today in Foundation, we thought it would be a fun idea to try and create our own volcano! The reason we decided to make volcanoes is because our letters of the week are Y and V. Today we thought we would look at the letter V.
I’m sure the children will go around telling you our ingredients which were bicarbonate of soda, food colouring and vinegar!
The children were so excited to be doing the experiment that we made two volcanoes, one red and the other orange!
After we had finished the experiment, the children were eager to draw their own picture of a volcano in their personal diaries.
