A group of Junior children took part in a tag rugby festival at Hinchingbrooke School this week. Year 2 were delighted to hear that they won the regional ISA art competition with their take on Elmer the Elephant! Year 2 transformed milk bottles into an amazing selection of elephants. The elephants will now be entered into a national art competition. We wish them best of luck!
Each year group gave a fascinating demonstration of a practical activity associated with the Brainwave topic they have just completed, in Assembly last week. The Brainwave project began this year's topic work by looking at the brain and how it functions.

Year 6 have just done their first Buddy Reading session with Year 1 which Mrs Stephens has told me was very successful. They will be doing these sessions fortnightly to aid the Infant children with their understanding of phonics and reading, whilst also allowing them to become good listeners and role models in Literacy.
