The hardworking students who attended Chinese Club this term were treated to a delicious finale today. The home-cooked set menu began with dumplings, followed by egg fried rice and tofu skins. Rice is considered a lucky food, whilst dumplings and tofu symbolised wealth in ancient Chinese culture, so here’s to good fortune (and a bit of luck) for us all. Congratulations to the students who have developed their language-learning abilities by studying Mandarin and have really improved their chopstick skills.
A tasty end to Chinese Club!
