Foundation & Nursery joined together for a day full of fun and games on a Sunny Thursday this week.

The children arrived in the most fantastic costumes, the classroom was soon full of builders, princesses and office workers and many more, all who settled in to all the role play toys such as the farm set and dolls house.

Mid morning, we were very lucky to welcome Rachel Anderson, the local PCSO into school to talk to the children about staying safe, stranger danger and what its like to be a police officer. The children loved joining in and asking her questions about helping people and catching ‘baddies’.

The sun came out in true force for us to enjoy the Foundation garden before a tasty picnic lunch and a chance to have some fun on the big playground, all to ourselves!

The day was rounded off with a big soft play session in the hall building tunnels and mountains and dens.

School was filled with laughter and singing all day, the children absolutely loved it !
