Dr Bones and his Skeleton helpers put in guest appearances at the Year 3 class assembly last Friday at Whitehall Independent School Cambridge to take us on a whistle-stop tour of the different bones in our bodies. We learned that a baby has over 300 bones at birth but by the time we are fully grown we only have 206!

We were also treated to some highlights of the trip to the Copley Centre in St Ives, with the stomp rockets, camp-fire lighting and shelter building amongst the favourites. Not forgetting of course…the tasty toasted marshmallows…the perfect pitta pockets….and the scrumptious chocolate chip damper dough! Yummy!

And what a grand finale! The children entertained us all with the very catchy song – ‘Muscles and Bones’ complete with actions. A super assembly children!

Our thanks go to all of the parents and wider family who were able to join us. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.
