For the first Woodland Working this half of the term, Reception and Foundation had the opportunity to cook outside in our fire pit. We toasted bread and made Hot Chocolate to enjoy together. A first experience for many and allowed us to discuss in detail fire safety with the upcoming Bonfire Night.

Congratulations to everyone who took part in the Summer Reading Challenge organised by the libraries. Today we presented medals and certificates in assembly and celebrated all who completed the challenge. Some of the children told us about the books they had enjoyed and gave us lots of ideas for good books to read. Well done!
