"All of the children, from the youngest to the oldest, have enjoyed getting into the festive spirit, making snowflake decorations for our tree at St John's Church's Christmas Tree Festival. Do pop in and have a look at all of the beautifully decorated trees if you're able to, at the switching on of the Somersham [...]
On Wednesday 15th November, a group of ten Junior children went to Ipswich to partake in the ISA Swimming Gala. They took part in breast stroke, back stroke, front crawl and relay. The children swam brilliantly and did the school proud. They showed fantastic sportsmanship and teamwork, and it was lovely to see the children [...]

Whilst the Inter-house Football Tournament was taking place, some of the children in Years 1 and 2 were led by the juniors in three fun activities. As you can see from the photo, the children loved these activities and it was wonderful to see them all working together. Well done to all! Miss Di Raimo [...]
On the afternoon of Thursday 23rd November, the infants (with a little guidance from the juniors!) took part in a Football Tournament. They tried their hardest, showed fantastic sportsmanship and played some brilliant games of football. Well done to all involved! Mrs Scarrow

We were able to demonstrate the essential activities offered on a daily basis to promote listening and speaking. Surprisingly even taking the register in the morning encourages the correct [...]
Thank you very much to all of the families who have been able to generously support the Operation Christmas Child Shoe-box Appeal this year. It is with a warm feeling in our hearts that we send these gifts to be given to children in other countries who are much less fortunate than ourselves.
