We believe that as the children who come to Whitehall School are the fundamental reason for us being here, giving them a say in the running of the school through the School Council seemed like an obvious choice.
The School Council, each being a representative of a class from Year 1 upwards and directly elected by their classmates, meet in the Drawing Room. The children cover areas they would like to discuss relating to the comments of their friends and classmates. This year the Council are being supported by the teachers to run the meetings themselves. The Chairman states the agenda points and runs through them while the Secretary takes notes and gives the minutes to be typed up and posted.
