Whitehall School Classes

Curriculum

We offer a diverse curriculum with Maths & English taught by class teachers and specialist teaching in Art, Science, History, Geography, Computing, PSHE, French & Music.  This allows for a fresh and thought-provoking approach to learning which stimulates our children to be inquisitive and independent.

We work to an enhanced National Curriculum and combine traditional methods with new and innovative technology through the use of our iPad suite, laptops and wide-screen TVs to engage the children and stimulate their imagination to help them reach their full potential.

Progression

Pupils move through the Foundation and Infant stages into the Juniors  by which time they are ready academically and socially for entry into all major Independent and Maintained secondary schools. Our children consistently achieve above average in national tests and gain entry into the schools of their choice, passing competitive entry tests and in some cases, gaining scholarships.

We are very proud of our successes in inter-school events such as; the Cambridge Maths Challenge, the Peterborough Drama Festival and in Sports fixtures against other schools in Cambridge & Peterborough and in Art & Sports ISI Regional competitions.
