Last week in Foundation…

Last week Foundation learnt about weddings. This was a theme the children chose to build upon. We have used it to base maths skills such as weight and measure when making wedding cakes, literacy skills such as writing invitations, U.W when discuss other cultures and traditions and musical development. On Wednesday we were invited to Somersham baptist church where we experienced a real wedding with rings  and even vows. It brought a tear to mrs Scott and mrs Singh’s eye! A huge thank you to Sue and Gwen at the church.

Oh yes, the children have also been playing and learning in the snow which arrived last week!
