We have developed a new Computing curriculum to embrace the exciting and expansive opportunities created by the arrival of a new iPad suite.

We have a suite of iPads and laptops for individual and group work with large wide-screen smart TVs in all classrooms for the teacher to mirror work and work directly from the internet.  The suites are mobile and any machine can be connected to the TVs or the Projector in the Hall for group lessons.

We are continually researching and evolving these new areas of technology in education. We regularly update our selection of Apps and software to extend our knowledge of how this can best be used to enhance traditional teaching methods.  We are visited regularly by the Cambridge Education ICT Service for training and knowledge-sharing.

Our specialist Computing Coordinator oversees the delivery of the curriculum which is taught by class teachers in the Infants and a specialist teacher in the Juniors.  Throughout the school, technology is used during lessons in a contextual way with internet access available in every classroom.
