Whitehall School , founded in 1983, is a small independent day school, which takes boys and girls from 2½ to 11 years of age. It is a member of the Independent Schools Association (ISA).
The school is situated in pleasant grounds in the Cambridgeshire village of Somersham – within easy access of Cambridge and Huntingdon. Its secure site consists of a main house, 18 th century coach house, covered swimming pool, play areas and gardens, games field and separate library building.
Pupils move through Foundation and Infant stages to the Junior department where we prepare them for entry and scholarships to all major independent and maintained secondary schools.
We provide children with a broad and balanced curriculum, giving them an excellent academic foundation and a chance to develop other individual strengths and talents to the full. In maximum class sizes of 16 pupils, we are able to nurture self-confidence and self-esteem, preparing children not only for the next stage in their education, but also for future life.
Our high standards of teaching, caring family atmosphere, high moral expectations and safe environment enable our pupils to develop their individual personalities, interests and potential to the full.
We are very proud of our lively, successful and forward thinking school and whilst this website will give you a flavour of Whitehall, we would be delighted to meet you and show you around to provide the full picture.
